Vacation Memories

Back to Table Rock Lake for another year of vacation highlights! This year all the little kiddos stayed home while the adults got a getaway. Pete, now free to exercise the child in him, lost no time hiding the cabin decor (stuffed raccoon) in Liza's bathroom and then Nick and Kristi's. Although a valiant attempt was made to scare Pete it ended up being me finding the raccoon on our doorstep... :o)

We did a little walking down at Branson Landing and caught the fire and water show.

Most of our days were spent out on the lake. We had a few rainy days, but still plenty of time to soak up the sun and get in some water fun.

Liza and Pete get this years "Best of Show" for their very creative tube tricks. I tubed with Pete once, but decided he made a better partner with Liza who was able to hold her own better than me.

Liza, again, this is one of the many reasons I love you, you take the fall so well.

We went to our very first Branson Show, The Dixie Stampede! We all got pop in a boot mugs; saw horse tricks; dancing; ostrich, pig and chicken races and ate some finger lickin' food. Kristi and I found a giant rocking chair to take it easy in.
And in an appriopriate ending, Pete shackled for innapropriate behavior to the Pirates Cove employee. (or just some smack talk) :o)
