What a birthday weekend!

Happy Birthday, Titus! Can you believe he is already 2, because I can't! We had a very fun Saturday together as a family. We gave Titus his gift first thing in the morning. He opened it in bed and thought that was pretty neat. He blazed over the clothes and got straight to the toys.

We gave him new pieces to his Mr. Potato head. He didn't want to give them up to eat breakfast, but we made orange rolls, so he gobbled one up and then went right back to playing.
We headed off to Caribou Coffee for his free birthday drink (hot chocolate) and our friend Brett was working. I just missed the shot of them looking at the camera. :o(

Mmm, it was so good and it was all for him!
Then we went to Gerten's for their Pumpkin Fest. Titus loved running through the straw maze. He survived the spooky house,
Visited the animals,
Got his face painted,
and finished with a hayride.
We had our big family party that evening. We crowded into our house and survived the crazy adventure. So much food, so many presents, so much fun.
Grandpa Nystrom helped put together some of the new toys.
We had a Cars themed birthday, so I put together a Cars cake. Titus was most interested in getting the toys off his cake, but thoroughly enjoyed everyone singing to him.
Not and easy task, but we did manage to get all the cousins together for a picture. Ivy, Tyler, Nate, Abby and Titus. They were all a little more cheerful than last year.

He had such a full day he didn't want to go to bed. We let him fall asleep with his new Lightning McQueen car because I am pretty sure he wasn't going to go to bed without it. We snuck in later and put it at his feet so he could find it in the morning. We went to check on him before bed and he had already turned himself around, found his car and cuddled up with it again.
Happy Birthday, Titus! We thank the Lord for you everyday and pray you have another wonderful year.
